This lovely Bachman Village home sleeps up to eight and is just two blocks from the ski slopes and steps from the local grocery store.
Guests enter this home from a welcoming porch on the ground level. Upon entering the home, there is an entry area with a ski rack and boot bench for prepping for mountain activities. The main living room is just off the entry and features a large bay window, gas fireplace, relaxing leather couch, and a flatscreen TV with a Blu-ray DVD player and Roku.
The kitchen and dining room are located adjacent to the living room through a pass-through. The full kitchen has granite countertops, dishwasher, toaster, coffeemaker and everything needed to make a complete meal. There is also a breakfast bar with two stools that opens up to the dining room, which seats up to six people. There is also a small nook area with a desk in the corner.
The master suite is also located on the ground level. This private room has a king bed, flatscreen TV, small sitting area and an ensuite bathroom. The bathroom has been tastefully redone and is highlighted by beautiful granite countertops with a double sink and a large step-in shower with a glass enclosure and seat. There is also a great back deck with seating located off of the Primary Bedroom that faces the northern ridge.
Upstairs, there are two bedrooms and a bathroom. The first bedroom has a queen bed, flatscreen TV, small sitting area and southern views of the mountains. The second bedroom is extremely spacious and has four twin beds and a flatscreen TV. There is a bathroom in the hallway for both bedrooms that has a shower/tub combination and a double vanity. There is also a full-size washer and dryer located in this space.
Views from the front porch include the ski runs to the south, open valley floor to the west and Ajax Peak and Ingram Falls to the east. The free in-town shuttle bus route swings right by the end of the street for easy access to historic downtown, skiing, snowboarding, hiking, and Town Park, where the summer festivals take place. Everything is within a 15-minute walk.
