You'll even find a luxurious hot tub, the perfect place to soak as you gaze toward the surrounding trees with the San Juan mountains as your backdrop.
The Wapiti Mountain Escape is located in the Ski Ranches neighborhood of Mountain Village, which offers privacy and great views. The Mountain Village Core and the ski slopes are just a short drive away, and hiking, biking, and plenty of other outdoor activities are right outside your front door. When driving up to Wapiti Mountain Escape, you'll notice access 150 yards before the driveway to Ski Ranches' Snowshoe Trail, which allows great hiking year-round.

Guests may enter this home through the main entrance or the heated two car garage. Through the main entrance, you are welcomed into a soaring open living space with a living room, dining room, and kitchen. A powder room and storage for ski and hiking gear are by the front door.
The vaulted living room offers floor-to-ceiling windows, plenty of seating for entertaining or relaxing, a wood-burning fireplace (not available for guests), and a flatscreen TV. Within the entertainment counsel, you'll find a large selection of games, puzzles, and local hiking, fishing, and fauna books available for guest use.
A multi-CD player with a vast music selection may be enjoyed through Bose speakers. The living and dining rooms and the front entrance provide first-floor access to the wraparound deck. Wireless internet is available indoors and outdoors via a strong fiber connection, allowing for seamless remote working or entertainment.
The adjacent dining room has seating for 10 at a large, welcoming table with a banquet, which makes serving big parties stress-free.
The open and spacious kitchen offers plenty of counter space for preparing any meal. The stainless steel appliances include a four-burner gas stove, double ovens, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, stand mixer, and coffeemaker. The well-stocked kitchen, a walk-in pantry, a second prep sink, and a second refrigerator (in the garage) make gourmet meals and extended stays easy.
The two-car garage is up a half-flight of stairs. Continuing up another half flight of stairs is the primary bedroom, which has soaring ceilings, a king bed, and access to a large, private exterior deck with seating. The ensuite bathroom has a large double vanity, a separate water closet, and a step-in shower/tub combination with a glass surround and window. Guests are welcome to "Take A Book/Leave A Book" from the primary bedroom's book wall collection for their enjoyment.
Up another half flight of stairs is a spacious family room, which offers a separate living space for families to spread out. The room has a flatscreen TV, a comfortable sectional couch that pulls out to a bed, a game table for four, a small desk/ office area, and is stocked with kids' games and toys in a large toy chest.
Downstairs from the main entrance on the lower level is another living space with sliding door access to a lower deck, a private hot tub, and an outdoor couch. This level also boasts a large laundry room and two bedrooms, each with a queen bed that share a jack-and-jill bathroom, also accessible from the living area. The bathroom has a dual vanity and a separate lock-off with a shower/tub combo and a glass enclosure.

•When renting this home in the winter we recommend 4x4 vehicles or chains, as the property is located at the bottom of an incline. The road and driveway is plowed regularly however snow and ice may intermittently accumulate.
•There is no A/C at this property.
•Please note; As a ski town, many construction projects happen around town all summer. Working hours are 8 am-7 pm.
•Please note that the golf course is members-only, and guests do not have access to it.
