Arch Cape is the quiet stretch of the north Oregon coast, a small wooded community tucked between Cannon Beach and Manzanita where the pace slows and the beach rarely feels crowded. The Grey Piper sits right in the heart of it, a single-level mid-century home with the sand just a short walk from the door and an outdoor shower waiting to rinse off the beach when you get back.

The open layout moves easily between the living area, anchored by a wood-burning fireplace, and a dining table with room for 8. The full kitchen has everything needed to cook a proper dinner after a day of tidepooling, and a washer and dryer make longer stays simple.
Four bedrooms give everyone space to spread out. Two hold king beds, a third has a queen, and the fourth is a bunk room with four twin beds that kids tend to claim on sight. Two full bathrooms and a half bath keep mornings moving.
The ocean-facing deck is where most days end. Settle into the lounge chairs around the fire pit, fire up the BBQ, or linger over dinner outside while the sun drops into the Pacific. On this part of the coast, the sunsets earn their reputation.
When you're ready to explore, Hug Point State Recreation Site is about a mile up the road, with its sea caves, tide pools, and beach waterfall. Oswald West State Park and the surf at Short Sand Beach are roughly 3 miles south, Haystack Rock and the galleries and restaurants of Cannon Beach are a 10-minute drive north, and Manzanita's laid-back main street is about 15 minutes down Highway 101.
