Soda Springs Estate sits on 39 acres of its own, with rows of Cabernet vines on the property and nothing between you and the western hills but sky.

The house is single-story and genuinely spacious, more than 5,000 square feet under vaulted ceilings. The great room holds deep white sofas, a fireplace at one end, and walls of glass that keep the view in front of you no matter where you sit. The Silverado Trail runs just below for scenic drives up the valley, and Yountville is an easy trip north. Come back before dusk, though. The view from your own hilltop is the one worth keeping.
