At the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in northeast Bend, Butte & Ember keeps things simple in the best way. Everything is on one level, the backyard is fully fenced, and the hot tub is a few steps from the back door. Mature trees and established landscaping give the street a settled, neighborly feel, and Pilot Butte rises about a mile away, close enough for a summit hike before breakfast.
Inside, the living room flows straight into the kitchen and dining area, so whoever is cooking stays part of the conversation. The primary bedroom has a king bed and its own ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen, and the third has a twin with a trundle tucked underneath, an easy setup for kids or a friend who doesn't mind bunking in. Those two rooms share a full bathroom.

String lights hang over a lawn framed by mature trees, Adirondack chairs circle the fire pit, and a shaded table on the deck is ready for al fresco dinners straight off the BBQ grill. The hot tub sits right alongside. In one corner of the yard, a she shed adds a small hideaway of its own for reading, a quiet phone call, or a little time to yourself. With the yard fully fenced, dogs can roam freely, and up to two pets are welcome.
Stover Park is just around the corner, with shade trees, a playground, and an open lawn. Pilot Butte's summit trail and its wide views of the Cascades are a short drive or a longer walk away. Drake Park, the Deschutes River, and downtown Bend's restaurants and shops are about 10 minutes away, and the Old Mill District is close behind with riverside paths, shopping, and dining. Mt. Bachelor is roughly 40 minutes up the road for skiing in winter and hiking in summer, and Smith Rock State Park is a similar drive north.
