Some trips call for square footage and a long list of rooms. This isn't one of them. Ocean View Efficiency is a sunlit studio built around a single, easy plan: the beach. It sits inside Island Retreat, one of Port Aransas's most-loved beachfront communities, with the dunes and the Gulf waiting just past the balcony railing.
Inside, the studio keeps things uncomplicated in the best way. Two queen beds sleep up to four, and a small dining table sets you up for morning coffee or a late card game. The full kitchen handles sandy-feet lunches and low-key dinners in, a TV covers the slow afternoons, and the open layout stays bright and airy from sunup on. Then there's the part everyone really comes for---the private balcony, with its dune views, the steady wash of the surf, and a salt breeze that makes heading back inside feel optional.
Island Retreat is made for the kind of week where planning barely enters the picture. Two boardwalks cut across the dunes straight to the sand, putting the water just a few minutes from your door. Back in the community, a pool cools you off between swims, and tennis, pickleball, and basketball courts plus open green space give everyone something to do when they're not ready to call it a beach day.
The setting is pure Port A. You're off 11th Street in the golf cart zone, a quick ride from the center of town, where the fishing fleet runs charters out of the harbor and seafood spots like Tortuga's Saltwater Grill and Grumbles serve the day's catch. Local gift shops, laid-back eateries, and deep-sea outfitters are all close by when you want a break from the sand. For beach mornings, balcony evenings, and a stay that keeps the whole thing simple, this little efficiency gets it exactly right.

Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in this home. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval, there is a fine of $500 per pet. This HOA/Condo strictly prohibits pets of any kind, including Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). Service Animals, as defined by law, are permitted. If you plan to bring a Service Animal, please notify us in advance so we can inform the HOA. Important Note: If it is determined that the animal is not a certified Service Animal, eviction may occur. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Construction is always happening somewhere in Port Aransas; we can't guarantee that you won't hear/see construction, building, or community improvement projects and events during your stay. Cable/WIFI is provided as a convenience; Port A does experience outages from time to time. Services can be intermittent on an island. Be sure to inquire about discounted Winter Texan/Snowbird rates and long-term stay discounts! Please remember that you are on an island; mosquitos/pests can be plentiful several times per year. Our properties are treated by professional pest control service every 4-8 weeks. Please note that the maximum occupancy includes infants and babies. Ensure that the total number of guests, including little ones, adheres to the specified occupancy limit. Guests can rent a golf cart from Coastal Eds! We encourage you to book the golf cart with Coastal Eds as soon as possible, we cannot guarantee availability if you choose to delay booking. Guests must be 25 years or older to book this home. Guests under the age of 25 must be accompanied by an adult. Per HOA rules, any group without someone 25 years or older present is subject to eviction. Washers and Dryers coin laundry are in the complex and available for guest use.
Parking Details:
Parking passes required. 1 parking pass provided per condo. There is no assigned parking, so you can park anywhere within the complex.
All bookings over 30 days require a security deposit to be charged after booking.
