Upstairs, the home is bright and easygoing, with a coastal palette and an open layout that brings the living room, dining area, and kitchen together into one comfortable space. The two bedrooms sit on opposite sides of the home, so everyone gets a little breathing room. The primary suite has a king bed, an ensuite bath with a tub and shower, and its own door out to the covered balcony. The guest bedroom has a queen and the same easy access to the balcony, with a second full bath and walk-in shower just across the hall. That balcony is where the day slows down, with coffee in the morning and the easy hum of the village below once evening comes.
Past the front door, the rest of Sandestin opens up. Hop the free resort tram to Sandestin's private white-sand beach on the Gulf, cool off at the resort pool, or book a tee time on one of the championship golf courses. Kids have the adventure play structure and a classic carousel right in the village, plus wide green lawns to run around on, and Baytowne Marina is a short walk away for a fishing charter or a cruise on the bay.
Grand Boulevard's shops and restaurants are about a mile down the road, Silver Sands Premium Outlets is a few minutes' drive, and Destin's harbor is a short drive west, with the state parks and trails of the Emerald Coast in easy reach. Still, plenty of guests find they never need to leave the resort gates.
