Set on a quiet finger canal on Delray Beach's barrier island, this four-bedroom, 4.5-bath home puts water on two sides of your day: the channel out back, where the dock catches morning light and boats slip past on their way toward the Intracoastal, and the Atlantic roughly 150 yards east --- close enough that you'll hear the surf on a still night and reach it on foot in about two minutes, no car, no shuttle, no hunting for a spot.
Inside, 4,279 square feet unfold in a clean, contemporary key: pale finishes, generous sightlines, and rooms scaled for a crew of ten without ever feeling cavernous. The kitchen is the natural center of it, fully equipped and anchored by a large island that draws people in whether or not anyone's actually cooking. A long dining table sits ready for the kind of meal that starts at seven and ends whenever, and the living room keeps the conversation going after, with a sleep sofa tucked in for the friend who decides to stay. A first-floor king bedroom with an en-suite bath opens directly to the pool deck, which makes it the room everyone quietly hopes to be assigned. A half bath serves the main level.
Upstairs, three more bedrooms each come with their own en-suite bath, so mornings move without negotiation. A king room opens onto a private balcony. One queen room pairs a dedicated workspace with its own balcony, and the second queen room has a workspace of its own --- enough separation that a working morning and a beach morning can happen under the same roof. In-home laundry means you can pack light and let the sand sort itself out.
The backyard is where Beach Drive Estate really makes its case. A private pool sits at the center, with a hot tub alongside and a wide patio of loungers and seating arranged for both sun and shade. The propane grill comes stocked with tools and a brush. Board games live inside for the evenings nobody feels like going out.
Past the pool, the private dock runs out over the canal --- and it's a proper one, not a decorative plank. Built four years ago in synthetic decking that stays splinter-free and barefoot-friendly, it's set up for guests who bring a boat: potable water, two 30-amp electrical hookups, multiple cleats for tie-off, and rubber rub-rails along the pilings to keep hulls happy. It accommodates boats up to 37 feet, with just under three feet of water at the dock at low-low tide and five feet in the channel, so plan your draft accordingly. Bring your own lines, hoses, and fenders --- those aren't stocked. And if you're not arriving by water, the dock is still the best seat in the house: a good spot to drop a line, watch for manatees in the cooler months, or sit with coffee from the drip maker (there's a Keurig too) while the water does its thing.
The location is the rare Delray combination of quiet street and short walk. Head east and you're on the beach in minutes; the wide public stretch along Ocean Boulevard runs for miles with lifeguards, showers, and easy access points, and the Delray Beach Pavilion marks the lively heart of it where Atlantic Avenue meets the sand. Turn south instead and the Avenue itself is about half a mile --- a genuinely walkable half mile of galleries, boutiques, sidewalk dining, and live music that draws people from all over South Florida. Veterans Park sits along the Intracoastal at the foot of the bridge, with swings, shade, and boats drifting past. A little further in, Pineapple Grove's arts district and Old School Square's Cornell Art Museum fill an afternoon, and the Sandoway Discovery Center, a historic oceanfront home turned nature center with stingray feedings, is a reliable win with kids. For quieter sand, Atlantic Dunes Park and Anchor Park sit just down the coast with boardwalks through the dunes. Drive fifteen minutes west and the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens and the boardwalks of Wakodahatchee Wetlands offer a completely different Florida.
DOCK & BOAT INFORMATION
The private dock is available for guest use. Please review the following before booking if you plan to bring a boat.
Dock specs
Dock length: 25 ft Maximum boat length: 37 ft overall --- larger vessels risk encroaching on neighboring water access Depth at dock: just under 3 ft at low-low tide Channel depth: 5 ft at low tide --- deeper-draft boats should plan accordingly Potable water hookup and two 30-amp electrical hookups available Multiple cleats; rubber rub-rails on all pilings
Dock use
The dock and hookups are monitored by an exterior security camera. Please inform AvantStay of your intent to bring a personal watercraft at least 24 hours in advance.
Not provided
Hookup lines, hoses, ropes, and fenders are not supplied. Guests bringing a boat should bring their own standard equipment.

Guests trailering in can launch at several public boat ramps nearby --- ask us and we'll point you to the closest. Trailer parking at the home is driveway only, empty trailers only, 25 ft maximum length. No trailer parking on the yard or street. Both are monitored and enforced; street parking risks citations. No overnight parking of boats on trailers under any circumstance --- the driveway pavers cannot support the weight.

This is just as true in town, where party bikes and foodie tours along Las Olas Blvd allow you to experience the area's amazing culinary and bar scene. Cheers!
