Booked this home for a trip for people wanting to stay at a home and hangout during the day and don’t have to go out to have a good time i.e. amenities including ping pong, pool table, foosball table, pool. After reading reviews I was worried that the pool table was out of service and some said the pictures were much better than the real thing. AvantStay were quick to reply when asking if anything else was “out of order” for amenities and asked to get to know the group which was very personable. As for the photos of the house, little to say the least, we were NOT disappointed at all. The house was beautiful. With a huge front area with a basketball hoop and these awesome giant cactus’ in the entry way, it was beautiful. The home itself was built in the 70s but they and the owners have done an AMAZING job at renovating and adding an elegant modern look to the house given its age. Of course, old house have certain characteristics but if you can look past that it’s great. Not to mention it is huge and there is plenty of room for fun! The back yard also has a ton of space and a beautiful view of the hills behind the house! One thing that needs to be disclosed is how to lock the master suite doors! They were a little confusing at first but one of us was able to figure it out! Over all, very good stay! The location was great but several of the Uber drivers we had mentioned the location and how we “probably won’t be able to get any rides out here” it was only 10 min away from old town. We didn’t seem to have any issues with it but Uber’s and Lyft’s were slow to respond so beware of that in time sensitive scenarios! 5 out of 5 stars. Great stay. Don’t listen to bad reviews, and pay the extra $50 to heat the pool if you are not staying in the middle of the summer/hot season! It was the coldest pool I’ve ever felt! :) Thank you AvantStay!
Wow…..Wow…..Wow!!!! Our large party absolutely fell in love with this home. We may even book again for next year:) The home is so beautifully spacious with all the amenities needed. THE BEDS ARE AMAZING!!!! We all got up every morning saying we slept sooooo good!! The kitchen is super well stocked. A ton of beautiful serving trays, which is almost unheard of in these larger units. A large living area for everyone to cuddle and watch sports-with a pool table right beside. Huge laundry room, which we didn’t use, but I’m sure would be awesome if needed. The Casita is gorgeous-Brand spanking new. Again, we didn’t need to use the kitchen in there but could have if needed. The Casita was stunning and beds were amazing there as well. The backyard is awesome…. Tons of room to relax, beautiful Lemon trees (we used a few in a marinade… super special)., beautiful, good quality furniture etc. The Master Bath was an amazing surprise-something straight out of a top-end Vegas hotel. All-in-all, I would HIGHLY recommend this property for your large group-you won’t be disappointed! Thank you for having us Avant-Stay and looking forward to booking again.
This is home is absolutely gorgeous! It is modern and super stylish. The backyard is paradise - the lush greenery and twinkly lights really make it special. The house is in a quiet residential neighborhood so if you are looking to be extremely loud and party this is probably not the best location. However, you are about 10 minutes from downtown Scottsdale which is very convenient! We stayed for my bachelorette party and definitely had ourselves a good time and only received one warning from the host. We had 14 girls stay at the house and were able to play music by the pool and enjoy ourselves without worrying. The house is super clean and AvantStay staff were very responsive to any questions I had and actually jumped on the phone to talk to me prior to the trip starting. The rooms and bathrooms are way nicer than any hotel accommodations and the kitchen was clutch for making meals - we actually had a chef come cook one night and he was obsessed with the kitchen too! Already missing this amazing backyard and house - it is a dream!
