This place was top notch! It was absolutely perfect for our family. We had six people in our group, including two young children and my 70 year old father, and we all enjoyed the condo and its location immensely. This condo has direct gate access to the "family lagoon pool," the beach bar, and the ocean lagoon. It was all literally just steps from our lanai. We felt safe and had complete privacy. The condo was stocked up with all the supplies and amenities needed to comfortably live and relax for a full week; and anything that was not in the condo the Avant Stay staff was very quick to get us what we needed and they were friendly as can be doing so. The resort has a great event lounge area that can be reserved in advance for private parties which was absolutely perfect for when we hosted a small family celebration with our local Hawaiian cousins. Parking was easy and the staff of the resort was mostly awesome (there were a few staff members of the resort, not Avant Stay, who really shouldn't be in hospitality as they clearly don't like being happy or making others happy). We were truly impressed and thrilled with this condo from start to finish. We HIGHLY recommend renting a car for your trip as we were under the impression that restaurants and shopping were much closer than it ended up being. For two young adults the walks to these things wouldn't be too inconvenient, but having two young children and one elderly person in our group, this proved to be much more difficult. We borrowed a car from a cousin on the second day and it made all the difference in the world. Be sure to check out the luau at Paradise Cove, which is just a few minutes up the road via car. I've been to luaus before and am always disappointed, but this one was worth every penny between the pre dinner activities, drinks at the bar (delicious and reasonably priced), the food, and the entertainment... all exceeded expectations and then some. We all decided to make a new family tradition of staying specifically at this condo year after year. We are so excited to visit again!
What a beautiful location! We loved seeing that mountains and the ocean from way up high. The gated community and clean pool and gym were great to have available.
The home provided a great gathering place for breakfast and evening chilling when we weren’t exploring the island.
Bedrooms: comfortable beds. Great window coverings for blocking light. 4th kids bedroom is a double bunk and a single trundle that can be pulled out. The home really only sleeps 9 adults comfortably. We had 10 of us with 4 kids ranging 10-16 years of age and they all wanted their own bed. My son ended up in master bedroom closet with the “cot” mattresses. I was thinking that would be a more substantial rollout cot we use at our rental. Each room has its own air conditioning!
Bathrooms: 2.5 - With 10 people in the am can be hard to get everyone showered, so just prepare for that. Shower pressure is just ok.

We have stayed at several Airbnb‘s over the years and THIS ONE WAS THE BEST. Everything about our experience was very professionally handled. And while they had some awesome automated texts to check in on us, there were also personal texts and quick communication to respond when we had questions. Our place was impeccably clean and you could tell their cleaning person had a great eye for detail and quality work. The home was spacious and beautifully decorated. Everyone in our family was thrilled with the house and made several positive comments about it throughout our whole stay. Our young adults loved the clubhouse gym and the pool. The view from the deck is incredible. The beach amenities were fantastic and much appreciated. There was a tsunami warning on the island while we were there, and the owners checked in to make sure we were aware and OK. While the location is far from several places on the island, our family felt like the stay was worth the extra drive. We highly recommend!!
