We had a large 50 person family reunion (all ages from infant great grand babies to our senior parents) 5 days, 4 nights in Corpus Christi-these homes had so much space for our group to spread out as well as gather together. The sleeping areas were plentiful and the beds comfortable. There was some extra linen to be used if needed. There was an adequate number of bathrooms to accommodate us. Plenty of freshly laundred bath towels as well as beach towels. The kitchens were a good size and the two large houses have long island tables that sit lots of people for family meals. The kitchens were well equipped. The houses were clean, airy, and well lit. There are a lot of stairs- our two seniors did note those being hard on the knees by the third and fourth day. The community pool was clean-our teens and littles played in it multiple times. There are some big grassy areas where our group played small games of soccer, spike ball, and threw around the football. Area relatively safe and quite.
We had an overall good stay and the homes worked well for our group. The layout and space met our needs, and everything functioned as expected.A few things to note for future guests…these homes are located near a very busy road, so there is noticeable traffic noise, especially at night. Light sleepers may want to plan accordingly. We also typically see beach essentials like chairs provided in similar beach-area rentals, so that would have been a nice addition. Additionally, we did need to rewash some of the dishes and silverware upon arrival before using them.Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciate the accommodations, but these are a few areas that could make the experience even better. We would not rent again.
11 out of 10! The location was perfect for all the family activities we had planned. We had a large group of family and the house was absolutely perfect for coming together and keeping space when needed. We walked in and were speechless. It was more roomy than the photos and there was enough household amenities to keep the adults and children occupied and interacting. The beds were cozy and the most comfortable, I didn’t want to leave the bed. Oh and the showers and garden tub were large enough for my 6’4 son to spend time soaking after a long day of wedding preparations! We will be back and make more memories together!
