The address does most of the work here. Electric Pass Lodge sits slope-side in Snowmass Base Village, close enough that ski-in/ski-out is less a selling point than a plain statement of geography. What sets the building apart once you're inside is harder to see: it's all-electric, net-zero ready, and running entirely on renewable power from an on-site solar array. Rare anywhere. Almost unheard of at the base of a mountain.
Three bedrooms across 1,547 square feet sleep ten. The primary is a king suite with a Waterworks bath that borders on excessive in the best way, and the remaining rooms are built around bunks --- which means the kids sort themselves out in about four seconds. Eight beds total, a second bathroom, in-unit laundry. Nobody negotiates, nobody hauls a hamper anywhere.
The living space is open and easy to be in: clean lines, warm materials, panoramic glass doing the heavy lifting. A deep sofa, a flatscreen, an electric fireplace for that stretch between last chair and dinner. The kitchen is genuinely built to feed ten, with four seats at the island for whoever's supervising and a table for six. Downstairs, guests have access to the Electric Lounge and courtyard --- electric grills, outdoor dining, planted green space --- and the Village Pool sits right out front, 25 yards of saltwater with a waterslide and spa pool. Ski lockers open onto the Bridges trail, parking is underground and secure, and the fitness facility next door at One Snowmass East handles the mornings you'd rather sweat than ski.
Base Village takes it from there. Winter is a walk to the lifts. Summer swings the other direction entirely --- the Elk Camp Gondola up to the Lost Forest for the Breathtaker Alpine Coaster, ziplines and ropes courses, and the Snowmass Bike Park with 3,000 vertical feet of lift-served trail. The free Sky Cab gondola shuttles between Base Village and the Snowmass Mall year-round, the Treehouse Kids Adventure Center is next door for ski school and childcare, and wood-fired pizza at the Limelight is a short walk. Aspen is about twenty minutes up valley when the evening calls for more polish.
