Sand starts where the deck ends. Dream Beach Estate sits directly on Broad Beach, one of the quieter residential stretches of the Malibu coastline, with more than 7,600 square feet of living space split between a main house and a separate guest house --- eight bedrooms in total, every one with its own ensuite bathroom and walk-in shower.

The main floor was built for a crowd. A 17-foot island anchors the entertainer's kitchen, outfitted end to end with Gaggenau appliances: two ovens, two microwaves, two dishwashers, a built-in coffee maker, built-in refrigerator and freezer, a four-burner gas range, a gas-fired wok burner, and an electric grill. The dining room seats 10 with the water in full view, and the living room opens toward the ocean through walls of glass. In the family room, a 9' x 18' video wall --- 20 feet on the diagonal --- turns movie night into an event, with multiplexing thatlets four games run at once.

Two bedrooms sit on the main level. The downstairs guest suite has its own seating area, oceanviews, a steam room in the ensuite bathroom, and doors that lead straight out to the pool and the sand. A second guest bedroom nearby has its own ensuite as well. Upstairs, three more bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms share the floor with a den and TV lounge, and the primary suite runs the full width of the house --- private office, sitting room, and a bathroom with a steam shower, a soaking tub, and separate toilet areas. Off the bedroom, a 1,000-square-foot balcony
delivers 180 degrees of unobstructed ocean.

The separate guest house adds two more bedrooms and two bathrooms, plus its own kitchen, family room, and laundry --- useful when part of the group wants a little distance from the main action.

Outside is where the property really stretches out. Over 6,000 square feet of decking connects a zero-edge pool in the main courtyard, complete with swim jets, spa jets, and a water wall, to a 40-foot infinity-edge pool closer to the beach with a Baja shelf and a dancing fountain. There's a modern fire pit for the after-dinner hour and a beachside entertainment area with a built-in barbecue. Lighting, climate, and audio run from a single smart home app.

Broad Beach sits west of Point Dume, which means quiet mornings and long walks on the sand without the crowds you'll find further down the coast. Trancas Country Market is under a mile away for groceries, coffee, and a quick lunch. Zuma Beach is about two miles east, and the sea caves and rock arches at El Matador are roughly the same distance west. Point Dume's headlands and whale-watching bluffs are about ten minutes down the coast, and the tide pools at Leo Carrillo are around fifteen minutes in the other direction. Malibu Pier and the shops at Malibu Country Mart make a scenic 25-minute drive along PCH, and the canyon roads just behind the house climb into the Santa Monica Mountains for hiking.
