The Cielo Estate was a magical experience and perfectly accommodated our wedding party. We utilized both the main house and the downstairs apartment so that the grooms party and bridal party could have their own space, and it worked perfectly for that. The view of the canyon was absolutely breathtaking, I personally spent most of the morning just enjoying the view while my bride-to-be was getting ready. The estate also provided additional pillows, blow up mattresses, and blankets that allowed for our whole wedding party to stay and relieving us of bringing any additional accommodations. The living areas itself provided ample space for the bridal party to get ready, as well as set out lunch/snacks, and allow for a comfortable area for everyone during a particularly hectic day. If you are looking for a private getaway for a large group or family with a straight shot to Malibu, there isn't anywhere else I'd recommend!
The house is located on a quiet area of pacific coast highway. There are 2 other neighbors beside the house. The house is located across the pch from the water on an elevated lot. El matador and Zuma beach are a quick car ride away.
The house also has a wonderful deck with a view of the water, a grill and a hot tub. Beds were very comfortable and kitchen well equipped. They also had beach chairs and towels and boards for us to use. All in all a great stay. A bit of a hiccup on the check in because the door code was wrong on the handbook as well as the WiFi password but this was quickly resolved by Jason their area manager.
Also Pls note this house is great but if you’re a large group note that this has 1.5 bathrooms only.
Also they have rabbits and humming birds that visit every morning. my kids loved seeing them.
I came with a group of 6 girlfriends and we had a lovely weekend! There was enough space for us to have our own rooms without feeling on top of each other. The home itself was just as beautiful as it's surroundings and you couldn't ask for a better location either! We started each day with a walk to Point Dume beach and areas like Malibu Country Mart were just a quick drive away too! The house had many yard games available for use that we took advantage of and there is even a cozy movie room we enjoyed as well for the one night it rained. It is the perfect place for relaxation and enjoying the surroundings and company you're with. We rarely left the home! The hosts were very responsive and helpful throughout our stay which added to making it a wonderful and memorable stay for us!
