Square footage is the starting point, not the finish line. Our large group homes are selected for open-plan living areas, outdoor spaces, and amenities — private pools, game rooms, wraparound decks — that make a group trip actually work.
Every AvantStay property is professionally inspected and hotel-clean before you arrive. What you see in the listing is exactly what you get, backed by 24/7 support throughout your stay.
Breckenridge combines world-class skiing and snowboarding with a historic Main Street, mountain scenery, and summer outdoor recreation (mountain biking, hiking, festivals). Winter powder draws skiers from across the country. Summer brings wildflowers, alpine trails, and a slower pace. The town itself — with restaurants, breweries, and galleries — keeps après-ski lively. Groups book large Breckenridge homes specifically because they're close to the ski lifts, have hot tubs and large living spaces for après-ski gathering, and often feature the dramatic mountain views that make being in Breckenridge special. One home for the whole crew eliminates the chaos of booking multiple hotel rooms scattered across different properties and parking lots.
This accommodation at The Rocker in Breckenridge is really wonderful, with a LOT of space that includes individual bedrooms/bathrooms, a nice open gathering space and large dining table. The kitchen is very well equipped and has some basic staples for use. There are two balconies and a lot of windows to enjoy the beauty of the Breckenridge area. Paid parking is available, however if you have a larger vehicle, note that the parking spaces are limited and some are narrow. Although this is not really a 'cabin' as stated in the 'About This Property' section and in the title, this is a really nice, well appointed apartment/condo within The Village at Breckenridge property. The location is ideal whether you're interest is skiing or visiting the heart of Breckenridge (walking distance.)A very short drive will take you to all the local, beautiful areas that surround Breckenridge (Lake Dillon for instance.) A local team for AvantStay sent us a text in time for our check-in, and introduced themselves with a local contact number.I will say that before this text arrived, in the days/weeks before our stay, there were several email updates with directions and information which, at times, were conflicting and confusing (other reviews on VRBO have also pointed this out.) I'm hopeful that the AvantStay team that is off site, can correct these issues in the near future. The local area AvantStay team was quick to answer the few questions we had. Thank you for a great stay, we hope to stay again!
We stayed at this house in February for an extended family ski trip. We had ages ranging from 60s, 30s, elementary aged, toddlers and infant. Overall we had a great stay in this house. The basement has a separate kitchen so it was very convenient for the family with a toddler and infant. There is no dining table for eating, but the island is huge and we had such a large group most people grazed to eat anyways so it worked well. We had space to park both of our vehicles behind the house, and there was an overflow spot if we had needed it. Great location, short walk to downtown. We could have easily walked to gondola as well, but with multiple kids we appreciated the nearby free bus/trolley stop. We also had a lot of fun sledding at very nearby Carter Hill. There was plenty of bedding- we even found a great full size air mattress in one of the closets that we appreciated having to use. The garbage disposal wasn't working when we arrived, but we called the number provided and they had someone out to fix it within the hour. A couple of things to note-- there were 3 pack n plays on the property. We needed two so I contacted Avant ahead of time to ensure they would have one on the property and then we unnecessarily brought one from home. Cabinet corners are SHARP, so be careful with kids! No sheets for the air mattress. Highly recommend this place.
This property is very unique in a good way and so fun. It's a quirky layout and very custom building style, but clean, cozy and beautiful. There is plenty of space for two families to spread out. We had a total of 10 people in our group, 4 adults and 6 kids and everyone had their own bed. The downstairs bedrooms were perfect for the kids, boys in one room, girls in the other with a lounge area/shared bathroom in the middle. The boys liked the "secret passage" through the garage to get into the main area of the house while avoiding the teen girls room lol. The listing states the treehouse may not be accessible during the winter...but if there is a treehouse available our kids are going to figure out how to get to it! They used the snowshoes and sleds provided in the garage and forged their way down to it. And as the one adult who braved the journey herself, let me tell you, that is no easy feat....the snow is deep and it is quite the workout, but so worth it. This treehouse is amazing #treehousegoals! The hot tub was so wonderful after long days on the slopes. Overall, we loved our long weekend here and hope to return in the future. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
