Explore Group Homes in AshevilleNo splitting across hotel rooms. No coordinating check-ins at separate properties. One home, one experience, your whole group together from arrival to check-out.
Square footage is the starting point, not the finish line. Our large group homes are selected for open-plan living areas, outdoor spaces, and amenities — private pools, game rooms, wraparound decks — that make a group trip actually work.
Every AvantStay property is professionally inspected and hotel-clean before you arrive. What you see in the listing is exactly what you get, backed by 24/7 support throughout your stay.
Asheville's mountain scenery and outdoor recreation — craft brewery tours and hiking — make it a natural gathering point for large groups. Whether it's winter skiing or summer hiking, the landscape provides a shared experience and gives groups a built-in daily rhythm. A large mountain home becomes the comfortable hub for it all. Groups prefer staying in one home in Asheville over booking multiple hotel rooms because they stay connected, cook together, share common spaces, and often cut nightly costs in half. That single home becomes the heart of the trip rather than just a place to sleep.
Great host communication! We loved the sunsets views from the hottub, playing corn hole, games, the comfy couch, and large dinning table. The master bedroom is spacious and everyone found the beds comfy (one queen room is more firm than the others). We had a blast meeting the neighborhood dog and kind neighbor (bye bye Sully!!!). He is the BIGGEST dog we’ve ever seen but is friendly and well trained.
Note: As others said, the location is close to the airport (which is convenient). Most of our group was okay with airplane noise, but if you are a light sleeper like myself you may have some trouble. With white noise and ear plugs I was mostly unbothered. You do hear some plane noise from inside but only for 20second bouts and not all hours of the night.
Also, the twin beds are not “XL” and may not be ideal if much taller than me (5’ 6”)
Kitchenware was sufficient but for our longer stay we did need to buy Tupperware and a more solid pan. Having 2 refrigerators rocked.
Thank you!!
Great location for a big group. We were playing in the Beer City Soccer Tournament in Asheville and this location could not have been more convenient to the JBL complex. Check in was easy with AvantStay delivering the check in code and address a few days in advance. There’s a charge for early checkin.
The townhouses were nice, with large bedrooms and good bathrooms, and small patios in the back for us to relax on. The finished garages were a great bonus area for us to hang out as a group. Washer and dryer (only in one of the townhouses) worked great. The only fallbacks would be that almost everyone in our party commented that the beds were very stiff and the couches in the garage that are “foldouts” don’t make good beds in reality.
Make sure you don’t miss the guest guides on the entry table! They have a few additional check out instructions that were not listed on the airbnb or avantstay apps.
We will likely come back to stay at these townhouses for the tournament next year!
We had such a great time! We had 4 adults and 2 kids in our party and we had plenty of space! The setup was great because we were able to stay downstairs with the kids and not wake anyone up in the morning or have anyone wake them up in the evening. There were gorgeous views of the mountains! There was everything you needes to cook and had lots of amenities. They had board games, living room tv, ping pong table, large connect four and cornhole. It was a travel company that managed the listing and they left goodies and even texted with help.
Only con would be the beds themselves. The beds were really hard for our taste and the downstairs frames were very loud (squeaky). Every time one of us moved, everything moved and woke us up. There were some cushions in the closests so we put thay on top of the bed which made the bed more soft and nicer to sleep on. We also wished we were closer than 20 min to stores/restaurants. This is nothing against the location itself, just a preference.
