Every AvantStay property is professionally inspected and hotel-clean before you arrive. What you see in the listing is exactly what you get, backed by 24/7 support throughout your stay.
Lake Norman draws groups with its waterfront access and outdoor recreation. Lake norman — north carolina's largest lake provides boating and lakeside dining and evening entertainment on the water. A lakefront or lakeside home becomes the natural gathering spot for water-based groups. Groups prefer staying in one home in Lake Norman over booking multiple hotel rooms because they stay connected, cook together, share common spaces, and often cut nightly costs in half. That single home becomes the heart of the trip rather than just a place to sleep.
I hope I can write a review that does Paradise Pointe justice, because the house and the Avant Stay team were just that amazing. We only left the house to go get groceries-10 min drive to an awesome Publix- there was no need to leave as the house had everything we could ever need to entertain our group. We paddleboarded and kayaked constantly. My daughters and I paddled to the little nearby sandy areas along Lake Norman and found so many beautiful rocks. I am by no means athletic and the beauty of the Lake is there is no strong current so it’s easy to swim and paddle. The house is GORGEOUS. Kudos to the design team because they nailed it. The game room at night was a blast. Now we want to sell everything in our garage and mimic the one in Paradise Pointe lol. There is a boat ramp right across the lake where we put our boat in. I highly recommend bringing your boat or renting one for the week so you can explore the beauty of Lake Norman. Pool, lake, house, playground, smores- Amazed!
Our family of 13 (plus 2 dogs) stayed here for Thanksgiving and had a great time. The fire pit and all the available firewood was awesome! Overall everything was well stocked. We did bring (and needed) some chef knives and extra bakeware bc we knew we’d be cooking a lot. The extra fridge was very useful for our group. Also location not far from grocery stores as well as a nice park that we enjoyed. There were a bit more stairs than we were expecting at the entrance, but not too bad. The fire alarm was a little sensitive & the stove settings were a bit funky to figure out but we did get it eventually. Only real complaint was that the water pressure was a little low especially if multiple people were showering at same time. Also while we knew the hot tub wasn’t working when we booked, it would’ve been really nice if it did! One thing we noticed, it still would run its filter cycle at night which was somewhat loud since it caused the adjacent deck to vibrate. Overall we enjoyed our stay!
This Lake Norman property is truly a hidden gem and a great size! It is in a quiet respectable neighborhood with BEAUTIFUL wooded surroundings!! The outdoor grill and fireplace area was better than the pics and our go to spot!!! The dock area with its kayaks and paddle boards were a HIT as well as the dock itself, where we all spent MANY HOURS fishing and catching everything from sunfish, to bass, to catfish (with a worm even). Just be sure to go up to the bait shop 5 min away to get enough worms!! These fish like to bite!🎉🐠🎣 This house had the perfect number and variety of room/bathroom combinations for our group of 10 as well! The kitchen was stocked with anything you needed to cook/ bake, once you look around enough. Even found LARGE FOIL under the sink -for our grilling-after we bought more of our own-so DO look around-in closets, etc.-because they have thought of MOST things you may need!! THANK YOU for helping to make our 1st ever weekend with all our family FANTASTIC!!🐇👏🏻⛅️🌅
