Browse 20 vacation homes for large groups in Oregon Coast — entire homes sleeping 8 to 30+ guests.
Explore Group Homes in Oregon CoastNo splitting across hotel rooms. No coordinating check-ins at separate properties. One home, one experience, your whole group together from arrival to check-out.
Square footage is the starting point, not the finish line. Our large group homes are selected for open-plan living areas, outdoor spaces, and amenities — private pools, game rooms, wraparound decks — that make a group trip actually work.
Every AvantStay property is professionally inspected and hotel-clean before you arrive. What you see in the listing is exactly what you get, backed by 24/7 support throughout your stay.
Oregon Coast draws large groups with its coastline, water activities, and outdoor dining culture. Groups find everything from family reunions to bachelorette weekends and destination weddings, all centered around the water and year-round sunshine. A single large home becomes your group's private beach resort. Groups prefer staying in one home in Oregon Coast over booking multiple hotel rooms because they stay connected, cook together, share common spaces, and often cut nightly costs in half. That single home becomes the heart of the trip rather than just a place to sleep.
Location was great. Easy to get to. I always judge a house by how easy it is to navigate. For example when I went to cook breakfast and have to start looking for all the pots/pans, utensils etc. And the majority of the time, when I went to look for something, I just went "If this was my house, i'd have put it here" and almost every time I did this, the item was right where I would have put it. So to me this is a great sign that someone spent effort to make sure everything felt natural and not just found a place to throw everything and call it a day.
Kitchen was well stocked as far as equipment. But not much in the way of common pantry items. So just be aware if you plan to cook here, you're going to have salt/pepper and a few random spices, but not much else. I'm guessing this depends on how much stuff the previous renters left behind. For example we bought butter instead of cooking oil, and so didn't leave behind any cooking oil for the next guests. So this isn't a knock on the house, just be aware if you plan to do your own cooking, check the pantry before you do your shopping as you might need to pick up a few of the more basic pantry items.
Bathrooms were all clean and everything worked just fine. Both full bathrooms had heaters in them so that you could warm them up before taking a bath or shower, which was a nice touch. Towels were plenty. We had 4 adults and 3 kids and I did one load of towels halfway through the week with all of us using them daily.
Location is great. Loads of places to explore both north and south on the coast. Good restaurants and grocery stores are about 20 minutes away. But there is an expensive grocery store in Cannon Beach about 5 minutes north of the house if you only need a few things. But one thing we weren't expecting was flooding in the local area. We just happened to get unlucky and there was about 2 days straight of solid heavy rain and both North and south on the main road flooded locking us into the house for a day. This obviously isn't the fault of the house and was just a bad string of weather. But just something to be take note of that it is possible if the rain gets heavy for a few days, you might get stuck due to road closures.
The house is only about 20-30 feet off the major road and you will hear road noise all night. We found one fan in the house which I used for white noise as I'm a stupid light sleeper. You are within walking distance of the beach which is awesome. There's a path you can take in the neighborhood to get to the ocean. We never used it as we were so close to other places we wanted to explore that we just never got around to using the local beach. There was also an outdoor shower for rinsing off if you do choose to go the beach.
Overall, everyone had a great time. The kids loved being able to see the ocean and have their own play space. The adults appreciated the effort that went into the house and all the little touches that you don't always see in an Airbnb.
Location, location, location. It doesn't get better than this spot in lovely Manzanita. Once you park your car, you don't need it. Beach steps away, two grocery stores within a short walk, and lots of restaurants. Although the house is around all the action, it's quiet inside. Spacious house with plenty of amenities- the kitchen has to be our favorite. We ended up cooking, laughing and drinking wine in the kitchen dining area without bumping into each other. The glass doors off the dining room table open out to a balcony overlooking the ocean. The hot tub comfortably fits 4 adults and has nice privacy fencing. Upstairs has the most bedrooms, but you don't feel packed in like sardines. The downstairs almost feels like a separate unit (bedroom, kitchenette, living room/game area, separate entrances), and perfect if someone in your group wants some extra privacy. This is the kind of house, that for the money, really feels like someone made a list of what is and isn't appreciated in house rentals at the coast and made it all happen. Can't wait to come back!!
The house is super cute! Perfect for group of 6, we only 3 adults in our group and it was very spacious. The kitchen is well stocked with all the essentials you need to cook. Loved the electric tea kettle! Linens, towels and make-up rags were good quality, thick and soft! Bed's were comfy. On a clear day you can see the ocean (over the houses and power lines. I wished the house was closer to the ocean, I should have read the description better. However, its easy to access the highway and close to town. Fireplace was wonderful! Due to rain, we did not get to enjoy the deck, hot tub, or fire pit but loved the lights in the trees and over the deck. House does sit right off the highway and you do hear the traffic noise. If you are sensitive to noise, this would not be your place. It didn't bother us, so we were fine. I booked through AvantStay and did ask several questions about the booking and house. Most of the my questions were answered timely. If the opportunity came along again, I would definitely book this home. It is charming and well kept.
