We had an unforgettable stay at Laker's Pointe! This home was perfect for our family gathering of 10, offering breathtaking views from almost every corner. The kids couldn’t get enough of the downstairs lounge, fully stocked with a pool table, ping pong, and poker setups—it felt like their private arcade.
Our winter adventures were equally spectacular! One group enjoyed ice skating and snow tubing at Skytop Lodge, just a quick and affordable 15-minute drive, while the others hit the slopes at Jack Frost Big Boulder, also conveniently close. Everyone found something to love!
Even our furry family member had the time of their life. The backyard provided plenty of space for our dog to roam freely and enjoy the outdoors—it was pure joy watching them explore and play in the snow!

Overall this is a 5 star listing, and Avant was very good with communication (text service available at almost all times day/night). But do be mindful of a few things. Most importantly, the lake view is pretty limited. You can't really see much until you are at lake level, which is down a steep incline. Once you get down there it's nice, but depending on your party, if your goal is to sit out all day enjoying the lake view, this might not be your best bet. Second, both sets of stairs are also steep, so keep that in mind if you have elderly or disabled people in your party. We had some hiccups with the living room tv and the temperature control, and the towels still drying when we arrived, but we were able to sort it out. The beds were comfortable, kitchen stocked, washer/dryer location convenient, and hot tub great. The firepit had no gas left, which was a big bummer, but not enough to lose a star. Definitely get the amenities pass so you can use the indoor pool, which the kids loved.
Group of adults and kids ages school-age thru teens - this place has something for everyone! The younger kids loved the books and games, the teens (and adults!) loved the video games and amazing basement game room. The weather for our stay wasn’t the greatest so many of the area’s things to do were unavailable, but there was so much to do at the house we still had a blast. Backyard was perfect for hanging out around the fire/making s’mores. Even with the cold weather everyone enjoyed the hot tub. At one point the hot tub water got murky- I contacted to host and within the hour someone came to fix it. That was the only hiccup everything else was smooth sailing. The house was extremely well appointed with attention to small details. Kitchen was stocked. Gas Fireplace was a nice touch! Enough beds and bathrooms to accommodate our group. TV in all bedrooms.Everything was labeled which really came in handy. One of the better air bnbs I’ve stayed in. Would definitely come back. Book it now!
