Fly into Albany International Airport (ALB) - approximately 34 miles away from Hudson Valley, and rent a car to drive around town. Or, you can take Amtrak from NY/Penn Station (approximately 2 hours) to Hudson Valley, but keep in mind that this option is less ideal for visitors heading to Hudson River's west side. Uber, Lyft, and local taxis are also readily available throughout the area.
